Nearly\nhalf (47%) of working age people are a bit lost when it comes to getting their retirement\nplanning in the right place<sup>1<\/sup>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"hd-block hd-block-paragraph\">\n<p>The research\nalso shows that just 28% feel secure in their understanding of how to manage\ntheir pension as they approach retirement, while fewer still (27%) have an idea\nof what a \u2018good\u2019 amount of pension savings is for someone of their age.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"hd-block hd-block-paragraph\">\n<p><strong>\u2018On the back\nfoot\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"hd-block hd-block-paragraph\">\n<p>The gender\npension gap once again rears its ugly head in the research, with women almost\ntwice as likely (21%) to say they feel completely \u2018on the back foot\u2019 than men\n(12%).
