And it\u2019s making it harder for millions of people to plan for their futures and manage their finances. Nearly two-thirds of gig workers had to apply to three or more lenders before securing a credit card or loan, with only 10% achieving success on their first application.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"hd-block hd-block-paragraph\">\n<p>When it comes to mortgages, the impact on people\u2019s lives is even greater.
