It shows that many people fail to organise their finances\nbefore death, leading to stress and anxiety for those left dealing with a\n\u2018financial mess\u2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"hd-block hd-block-paragraph\">\n<p>According to the research, one in\nseven (14%) of those tasked with administering the estate of someone who has\ndied, begin the process without full knowledge of all the deceased\u2019s accounts\nand assets. In fact, so many people die without leaving behind sufficient\nfinancial information, that 37% of accounts only come to light during probate.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"hd-block hd-block-paragraph\">\n<p><strong>Secret accounts<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"hd-block hd-block-paragraph\">\n<p>No wonder, then, that nearly 90%\nof those who have recently lost a loved one found the probate process\n\u2018stressful\u2019 \u2013 or \u2018extremely stressful\u2019 for one in six correspondents.
