The results showed that homes\nlocated within 0.25 miles of such schools cost British parents an additional\n2.5% on average \u2013 this equates to an extra \u00a37,235 for the average UK home.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"hd-block hd-block-paragraph\">\n<p><strong>It\u2019s all\nabout location<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"hd-block hd-block-paragraph\">\n<p>The research\nalso found that the price differential varies according to where in the UK the\npreferred school is located. East Midlands parents pay the highest premium,\nwith homes near excellent schools commanding 4.4% more.
