While first-time buyers (66%) saw the highest percentage experiencing unexpected costs, more than half of those with previous buying experience (55%) were still caught unawares.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"hd-block hd-block-heading\">\n<h2><strong>The costs of costs<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"hd-block hd-block-paragraph\">\n<p>Unexpected costs don\u2019t just add financial pressure for prospective homebuyers; they can also contribute to delays.
