Other top tips include booking in a snagging survey early on\n(18%) and visiting the property at different times of day (15%) to check noise,\nlighting and mobile reception. Ten percent of respondents wished they had\nchecked the terms and conditions more carefully, while 9% wish they had\ncommunicated proactively with the developer and ensured they had everything in\nwriting.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"hd-block hd-block-paragraph\">\n<p>Paula Higgins,\nCEO, HomeOwners Alliance, commented, <em>\u201cDon\u2019t assume anything when you\u2019re\nbuying a new home. There\u2019s a lot more to research than you think.
