All pretty straightforward.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"hd-block hd-block-paragraph\">\n<p>Now, for\nthe interesting part \u2013 at present a child can open an adult cash ISA when they\nturn 16, benefiting from the full \u00a320,000 adult allowance \u2013 a child can hold an\nadult cash ISA alongside a JISA whilst they are under 18.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"hd-block hd-block-paragraph\">\n<p>So, with\ncurrent allowances, a total of \u00a329,000 can be paid into their ISAs in one tax\nyear.
